Myth 2 – Hiring Help Is Something only the Wealthy Can Afford

Myth 3 – Hiring Help Means Your Standards Are Too High
Sure, we would all love to have a spotlessly clean home, but just because you hire help doesn’t mean your standards are too high. Sometimes, the help is needed. The mom who is carrying around an eight-month pregnant body cannot get some very necessary household work done, and when the dad is too busy with work to chip in, hiring help may be a necessity just to keep the home functional. Others may need a certain level of cleanliness in their home to function well, and hiring help may be the only way to get to that point. Wanting to have a spotless home is not necessarily wrong either, and hiring a cleaning company may be just the tool you need to accomplish this goal.

Myth 4 – Hiring Household Help Furthers Their Poor Economic Situation
There are many misconceptions about the ethics of hiring household help, particularly when the help is in a different class or race than the individual who does the hiring. However, hiring a cleaning company is not going to break any ethical rules. As long as you are certain the employee who comes to your home is paid well, and maybe even leave a tip or two yourself, then you are likely helping them by keeping them employed. The key is to find an ethical service that treats their workers well.
