If you have a busy and active lifestyle which makes it so that you are not home often enough to thoroughly clean and declutter your home,Declutter Your Home in Minutes Articles there are a few quick and easy steps that you can take to do a clean sweep of a room, organize a bit and feel better about your home when you walk out the door.

Whether your home is big or small, clutter and disorganization can happen anywhere. It usually happens when a person is not home enough to take the time to put things away, thus causing a huge amount of clutter. The easiest thing that you can do is decide what about which area of your home bothers you the most and tackle that issue head on. It could be as simple as fluffing up a pillow that could make all the difference in the world, but taking a few minutes every day to do this to every room will help you stay as uncluttered as you can with your busy lifestyle.

Start with your living room. Most people don’t spend much time in this room, so a simple plumping of the pillows and straightening of any rugs or décor may be just the thing that the room needs to look cleaned up. Next, move on to your bathroom: start by putting away any make-up or hair products every morning, with the exception of a hot curling iron. Keeping a container of disinfectant wipes under your bathroom sink will remind you to wipe down your counter tops and toilets often and will leave your bathroom looking and smelling clean and organized.

Once you are done in the bathroom, move onto the kitchen. Recycle all old papers, menus and coupons. Put away appliances that you don’t use often and clean off the refrigerator. Throw away any old food in your refrigerator and organize your food pantry. Straightening up your canned and dried foods can really help to keep a pantry uncluttered. By following these simple steps, you can organized and declutter your home, with very little time and effort.  Give yourself a few extra minutes a day to do these small tasks so you will feel better about your home when you walk into it at the end of the day.
