One of the latest and perhaps the safest addition to ventless fireplaces is the gel fireplace. It is considered to be one of the best options for homes that cannot afford or cannot have traditional fireplaces around their homes. As a new innovation, it proves to be a very promising one by maintaining clean and fire hazard free use. Because it belongs under the category of ventless fireplaces, it also does not need any form of chimney or venting ducts.

Each insert is equipped with a complete set of legs and pebbles so it would be very easy to install them inside the hearth. They can virtually change the overall feel and atmosphere of any room when placed at a focal area. They require less maintenance as compared to other types of fireplaces.
Fireplaces that use gel fuels are known to be by far one of the safest types of heating units. The fuel itself is composed of a bio ethanol substance known as the isopropyl alcohol. They also do not deplete much oxygen nor increase carbon monoxide levels in the air hence they are the best that any homeowner can have.
