Are you one of those people that just can’t stand the taste of chlorine water? Well, I feel the same way. I grew up on private well water and that is the best kind that you get. It has the nice mineral taste and it doesn’t have any chemicals in it. I never got used to chlorine at all and it is something that has followed me from childhood to adulthood. I know that many people get used to it and don’t even taste it after a while. I am unfortunately not one of those people, so I had to find a better way to get the water I loved. I’m going to show you what I did.
I started by getting filters. I picked up two kinds: Breta and a simple faucet filter. The faucet filter is something that goes right into the faucet itself, so you just turn on the tap and you can fill up your cup. I found this slowed down the speed of water, which made it annoying for doing dishes. Breta wasn’t too bad, but I was constantly refilling it and the filter needs to be cleaned often. So it really was more work for me.
Eventually I went out and got a water dispenser. You just buy big jugs of water and put it on top. It’s a lot cheaper than what you would think and it gives you the delicious mineral water. The dispenser actually helps to keep the water cool, so when you need it you don’t have to put it in the refrigerator.
