We all have the best intentions when spring rolls around – spring cleaning! Clear out that basement,LED Closet Light Articles organize that garage and tackle those monsters in the dark, closets. Yet, somehow, year after year passes and we always find other (translate to “fun”) projects to keep us from these onerous tasks.

You open the closet door with the best intentions only to be faced with dim, shadowy outlines of what seems an insurmountable chore. Perhaps what we need to facilitate the process is as simple as an LED closet light. Shedding some cool white light on the subject might just take away the dread of facing a darkened closet piled with clothes, shoes, toys and all manner of forgotten items.

An LED closet light can be chosen for its aesthetic qualities, its functionality and/or its convenience. There are ceiling mount and wall mount sconce fixtures for that large walk-in space that you might want to dress up while you get dressed up. These fixtures can be installed by an electrician or self-installed in many cases.

They are available in cordless, battery operated style that can be mounted or simply stick to the surface of the wall. Some are even portable and rest in a dock when not in use. This is possible due to the cool temperature of LED lights. One great option for any closet is a pivoting bar of multiple LED lights mounted on the wall or ceiling. These come in wired or wireless versions and are terrific for pointing that beam just where you need it.

Also available in the LED closet light genre are the “smart” fixtures. These nifty items are equipped with a motion or sound sensors and multiple lights for high illumination quality. You open the closet door and the light comes on.

You close the door and the fixture will turn itself off after a specified number of seconds or minutes if no further motion or sound is detected. Combined with the overall savings of LED usage this will keep even more money in your budget. This option is great for the kid’s room as well as for the forgetful ones among us!

When counting the closets in your home in preparation for purchasing LED lights include the pantry, coat closets and linen closets. You will be glad you did the next time you gather the cans of vegetables for dinner, or have to throw on a coat to run to the store.

Perhaps the much needed clearing out and downsizing will be a bit more pleasant with sunshine-like light on the situation. By choosing an LED closet light for all of those dark and crowded spaces you might find your dim opinion of them is a bit brighter!
