Moving is a task that most people dread. It is difficult and can quickly become a big mess. However, if you take the time to plan ahead of time, you can save yourself time, money and a huge headache.

Two weeks before the move, you need to start packing. It is best to start packing the things that you do not use everyday. These things may include an electric griddle and your fine china. When you are packing, make sure to pay special attention to breakable items, as you want to make sure that they will be safe during the move. In addition, make sure to properly label boxes when packing, making notes on the box as to what each one contains.

The week of the move you will want to double-check all of your plans. This is also the time where you will start packing the suitcases of the items that you use frequently and that you will need easy access to once you get in your new place. It is also a great time to plan for and make sure that you have money for all of your payments for all for the people you will need to pay.

If you start planning well in advance of moving day, the day will be a breeze. It is all in the planning process. If you follow all of these suggestions, you will be relaxed and ready to go!
