Following that you will want to tape off the places where you don't want the paint to go. More than likely this will be around door and window frames and along the ceiling. In the event that you are painting the walls white or the same color as the ceiling, you probably don't need to worry about taping it off. But white is so boring on the walls and there is nothing better than using color to make a room sparkle.
