This way you know exactly where all your bottoms are and it will save you time when you are trying to find something to match with your shirt. However, if you have outfits that are pretty well coordinated and you usually do not mix and match, then keeping the entire outfits together might be the best thing.

Shelves are a wonderful accessory to any closet. You can install these yourselves or buy some to put against the walls, but they are a great and space conservative way to keep your clothing organized. You can keep your shorts on them, your undergarments, and even some of your other delicate night clothes and intimates. Keeping your jeans in some kind of trough or floor lining drawer is good because jeans tend to weigh more and might cause strain on your shelves.
