Crossing 7 million followers made his fans add #7MillionBeliebers – hashtag to their tweets! The teenaged pop star himself got excited to know that his follower count has gone above 7 million! “Wow. Im from a town of 30,000 and I just realized we crossed 7 MILLION Folows!!! THANK U SO MUCH! #NEVERSAYNEVER!! #7millionbeliebers”, Justin Bieber tweeted.
Looking at the pace at which his followers are increasing, he may soon leave Lady Gaga behind!! But can we be sure that this won’t make the 16 year old star arrogant? At least, he promises this, “I'm grateful 4 every blessing no matter how small or how big. I promise 2 always stay humble and 2 share my blessings with others. I promise” Justine tweeted to say thanks to his ever growing fan base!
Bieber was found the most influential Twitterati both by Forbes and The Observer (U.K.). Interestingly, Forbes did not include Lady Gaga, the most followed diva in its list, as the survey was based on the internet response which included whose messages are retweeted the most and who is the most talked about personality in the Twitter sphere and the number of followers was not kept as a criterion. Bieber’s popularity is indeed the most and he even surpassed the Twitter influence of most influential people like Barack Obama and Dalai Lama! Obama was found on number 11 and Dalai Lama was at number 5.
Justin is quite excited with his upcoming movie, ‘Never Say Never – 3D’, which will be out in the theatres this Monday. Even his Twitter profile says, “Almost here.
