Power Profit Strategy #1:  Increase traffic.

There are different ways to drive traffic to your site:

            1. Buy traffic – This is the most effective.

            Examples:  Use the PPC Google Adwords keyword program and advertise on Ezines

            2. Borrow traffic – Through JV partners and affiliate programs

            Examples:  Affiliate marketing, email swaps, co-registration, reciprocal linking,   integration marketing (work with a competitor to help market each other’s product).

            3. Create traffic – Through search engine optimization, blogging, press releases,             and signatures in your email.

            Examples:  Press releases, submitting articles on the Internet.

1.      Sell, up sell, cross sell, and bump

      Up sell means that you offer upgrades on the order and thank you pages.

                  Cross sell means that you offer a complementary product on the order page.

                  Bump means that you ask them if they would like anything else before they                     complete their order.

2.      Increase the conversion of the sale. 

You have to test things in order be able to improve otherwise they are just hunches.  Start by testing your offer.  This means test the “way” the sales copy is written. Then test the headline, price, guarantee, bonuses, and PS.  (Every sales letter should have 3 PS’s.  The PS’ should talk about reversal of risk (money back guarantee), remind people about urgency and frequency if you have them in your sales letter.)  Then test sub headlines, pictures on your website, audio, video, header, graphics, site color, fonts.

Power Profit Strategy #3:  Increase the frequency.  Make more sales per customer. 

1.      A regular customer will make five times more purchases then a new customer. 

2.      Set up recur billing such as a newsletter that you bill to them unless THEY cancel.

3.      Also repurpose old content to use in new ways.
