Ares Vista was designed to work with Microsoft's new UAC system that was introduced into Windows Vista. The UAC broke Ares versions across the board (many still not having found a solution), and Ares Vista was quickly created to satisfy the need of filesharers. Now it has grown into much more than a solution to just this one problem.
I had been using Ares vista for quite some time. However, I was unaware of the cause of its origin until one of my friends told me that Ares vista was actually introduced to overcome the problems encountered by file sharers to connect properly to the network. They were just not communicating well with one another. It did not take long for some brains to detect the problem and formulate Ares vista- a solution to the incompatibility with windows vista! Ares vista tackled the problem with aplomb. Not just that, it overtook its predecessors in many other ways too!
Mine is one such case in point. I hated to download any file because of the long time and tediousness it involved. The restless me found it as tough to sit through the download procedure as much as I hated being at the dentists’ chair!! It was my brother who installed Ares vista on my system to pleasantly surprise me. Had he? Oh well, he definitely did. Forget getting bored to download anything, I now am addicted to downloading files. More precisely, I think I am addicted to Ares vista!
