A very popular type of blog is personal achievement. In a personal achievement blog a person will blog regularly about a goal that they are trying to reach. Whether it be weight loss,Blogging for your Future Articles job hunting, trying for a baby, raising a child, buying a home, starting their own business and many more.

A personal achievement blog is a great way to motivate yourself. By laying your goals bare to the public you are creating the biggest critics possible. These critics will check back to see how you are doing, read your successes and failures and some may even be motivated by your personal success. For many people sharing their journey is self-fulfilling because they are helping others as well as themselves.

Weight loss blogs are currently very popular and people who are actively trying to lose weight are encouraged, sometimes even by their doctors, to blog about their activities and food. This is a new form keeping a food diary. The blogger is held accountable to keeping up with it; sometimes even their doctor may check it themselves.

Part of the reason that personal achievement blogs are gaining popularity is due to accessibility of creating a blog. Most blog sites are free and are as easy to use as any writing program. You don’t have to be technologically savvy to create one or have a ton of free time. Most commonly bloggers post 2 to 3 times a week, but the great thing about a blog is that you can post as often or as little as you like.

If you are the type of person who likes to, or even needs to, set goals in your life to help with accomplishments then a personal achievement blog would give a great deal of added encouragement. Others can comment, offer you encouragement and suggestions. Blogs are very accessible; if you can use the internet then a blog is the next step.
