The first thing you might want to do is to have one browser tab with your page website as a visitor and the other tab the page open with the WordPress editor so you can switch between the two. In this way,How to Edit a Page On WordPress Articles you can easily check all your edits. To open your page as a visitor in your dashboard area on the top-left at your site name place your mouse cursor, click Visit Site, and then go to the page. To open the page with the WordPress editor, on your dashboard go to Pages and then click Edit.

If you are using the new Gutenberg Block Editor, I would recommend installing the classic editor. It's easy to use and practically everyone uses that. To do that in your dashboard go to plugins and then click Add New. On the search bar on the top-right type “classic editor”. After the search result go to the plugin and install then activate it. After this go to your page editor to start things up. To Starting from the left are the main text format buttons like B (makes the text bold), I (makes the text italics), ABC (will add a strike to your text). Next is the bullet list button which as the name suggests is used to create lists. When making lists with this command, if you want to create a line through the list press SHIFT-ENTER. Next, comes the number list button which works pretty much the same as the bullet list. After this are the Block-quotes, which unfortunately can no be customized. And after the Block-quotes, next comes the horizontal line, usually used for splitting pages.

The text alignment buttons are frequently used. And can rearrange the text to the left, middle, or right. You can also create and edit hyperlinks in WordPresswhich is very useful. For quick use of this command copy the link (CTRL+C), select the text, and press CTRL+V. The next command is used to remove a link. Just click anywhere on the text, or image and press the button. Then next comes to a command which isn't frequently used. The Read More function, which hides the text until the visitor clicks to read more. The hidden information can still be crawled by Google but isn't recommended. The last button in this row is the Toolbar Toggle icon. This button shows or hides extra formatting options. It's recommended to keep it activated.

The second row starts with Paragraphs and headings. This is used to structure your page or post by formatting the entire line or paragraph. Next is the button which can make underline text. After this is the text alignment icon which is used to make a justified paragraph. The next button is probably my favorite command. With this, you can customize the text color. But try to not overuse this. If you want to paste a text to your content without taking it's formatting also, then the next button is used for this task. Next is the clear formatting tool. This is used to delete all the formatting from the text. The Greek omega button when pressed opens a pop-up window of special characters, which enables your to further customize your page. Next are the Indent buttons. Which are used to increase or decrease the indentation of a paragraph or heading. And the last is the undo and redo buttons. The undo buttons is one the most used on this list.
