On the account recovery page some options are given out of which you can choose anyone to proceed towards password reset. In case you don’t remember your Google account recovery number and email than choose security questions for account recovery purpose. The steps to recover Google account using security question are given below:

  • Open Google account recovery web page and type your ID in the given box then click next
  • On next page Google will ask you to provide any old password of the same account
  • Type your old Google password if you remember or choose “Try another way” instead to proceed further
  • Now Google will give the choice to receive a code on account recovery phone number through call or text
  • Select “I don’t have my phone” and new page will open where Google will ask to receive the same code in recovery email
  • Skip this step too by choosing “Try another way” and then you will get the final choice “answer your security question”
  • On the next page Google will show you the security questions that you have already answered at the time of account creation
  • Now you have to provide the answers for your security questions correctly then only password reset page will open
  • Once you enter the answers Google will verify them and after successful verification only password reset page will open
