      As a landlord, your best option is to make the necessary repairs on your property. Next, you have it checked by the government agency. It may cost some amount of money. But if you do it the other way around, you’ll be facing more expenses compared to just minor repairs.

      If the issues cannot be corrected, landlords will be facing a much bigger consequence, starting a new home from scratch.  It may involve bull-dozing your condemned house and completely replacing it with a new one.

      These options may all require some amount of money. It all requires you to spend. But if you are having a hard time thinking which option to choose from, just base your decisions on an option with a lesser expense.

      Government agencies are just doing their job. If you get greedy and have your property rented out, you are just facing more expenses by making more and more payments towards your tenant. If you have it inspected first, then you are saving yourself from further financial difficulties!

      For tenants who may have rented an inhabitable property, never hesitate to have it checked by the agency. It saves you and your family from damages and health risks.  If possible, and if you’ve heard about the calamities that a state has gone through, don’t sign the tenant form immediately!
