How to Apply for UK Working Visas

Applying for any kind of travel visa can be difficult, but UK working visas are notoriously so. There are several different types of visas available and you have to make sure that you apply for the right visa or you may be denied entry into the country. In fact, there are visa application assistance agencies ready to help you get all your paperwork in order, just to make sure your application does get accepted as quickly as possible.

As someone between the ages of 18 and 30, the Tier 5 Youth Mobility Scheme is the newest visa available for entry into the UK. This allows young people to travel and work throughout the United Kingdom for up to two years, and there is no limitation on the amount or type of work that you can do.

For people over the age of 30, the Tier 1 Highly Skilled visa is one of the UK working visas that you may wish to apply for. This visa allows you to stay for up to two years in the UK, and you don't need to have a job secured or a sponsor before you arrive. This visa may also be extended for another three years if you decide to stay and continue to support yourself.

There are other UK working visas available for people who have dependents or ancestors in the UK, or who wish to only go to school. For all working visas, there is a requirement to have funds in your name secured in a bank account for at least three months prior to your application. You will also need to prove your English competency, and must be a passport holder from Australia, New Zealand, Canada, JapanArticle Submission, or Monaco. But this is a fantastic way to travel and work in the UK while gaining valuable travel experience.
