  • Federal Law Number 1 of 2006 regarding Electronic Commerce & Transaction applying electronic exchange and trade, yet not for individual issues such as marriages, inheritance and alike.
  • Law No. (4) of 2016 concerning Dubai Economic Security Center – uncovering data including state security, and the punishments for abusing such protection that is viewed as classified

The foregoing legislations are applicable to all companies registered within UAE regardless of mainland or free zone. However, the law is also applicable to companies registered outside the UAE, who commits any cybercrime.
