Managing your time is an integral part of being successful in business.   There are only so many waking hours per day and there is always so much for you to do.  This often gets overwhelming,Managing Your Time Articles to the point where you may not even want to attempt something new, regardless of how good it is, or how good you know you could be doing it.  Whether due to fear of failure or because we’re just exhausted, the majority of us will put off getting involved in a new business until the “right” time.  The problem is, there is very rarely a right time.  Time only moves forward. Responsibilities will only keep adding on, especially financial ones, with the money coming in usually being less than the money going out. Those with families know this all too well.

The important thing is to take steps, however small, to break this cycle now.  Prioritize your tasks each day, 1 week at a time and make sure they get done.  Find some time each day, even if only for 30 minutes to take action and change the course of your life.  If it means forgoing some TV, video gaming, random Internet surfing, or going out for drinks with friends, you can find the time.  There are distractions everywhere and you must become immune to them for whatever time you consecrate to working on your enterprise.  It all boils down to what you feel is truly important.  You know that nothing of value can be earned without some level of sacrifice.  We at The v-Fusion Group are in the same position as you.  We have to rely on guaranteed sources of income (salaried or hourly wage jobs) for the time being, but each and every day we find the time to work on our business so that in the next few years we won’t have to be dependent and work for others.

Some days it is harder than others but we must all keep our eyes on the prize.  If you write down all the tasks you want to accomplish for your business and systematically get them done, things will happen.  Do not compare yourself to anyone else and never beat up on yourself when you slip, because we all do.  The objective is to minimize such blips on your radar and stay positive.  Keep your eye on the prize. Work diligently and consistently every day and you will reach your goal.  Do not get frustrated if results don’t come immediately.  There is no magic here, only a solid business model that requires hard work.  The great thing is that you don’t have to drop everything to do this. We certainly have not.  We would love to be able to focus all of our time and energy on building our team but that is simply not practical yet.  We work around our jobs, families, and numerous other obligations and things are going very well.  Enjoy yourself and this won’t even feel like work.  It shouldn’t.  It should feel like an exhilarating adventure, which is what taking control of your life is.  The only way you can fail is if you quit, or worse, never even try.   As you can see, time is of the essence…
