Review

The first thing on your agenda is going to be to review everything under you supervision. A crucial part of the process is to continuously improve, tweak, hone and reduce. As such, effective review is an integral part of this process. Your reviews might entail looking over progress reports, checking up on the development of software, hardware or other physical goods or liaising between staff, manufacturers and upper management. Whatever your job role or responsibilities, be prepared to review a large amount of information on a continuous basis and then apply changes and improvements based on your findings. Plan

After the review process has been carried out effectively, the next step is to begin planning. This involves acting on the feedback, changes and information gathered in the review process. You’ll be expected to analyse this information then set your own plan of action moving forward to ensure that a continuous process of improvement is in place and that you continue cutting costs and improving processes. Implement

Measure

The next stage in the process is measurement. This ties in closely with the review process. To effectively review your results and progress, you need clear metrics to measure.
