Sacrificing quality in favor of quantity is a huge mistake.  It is vital for you to write quality articles if you actually want people to read them.  These articles can turn people into long-term readers and hopefully customers.

When it comes to quality, there are many things to consider.  First, you need to make sure all information you provide in the article is accurate.  You also need to stay on topic over the course of the article since readers will not like it if you get off-topic.

The readability of the article will also factor into its level of quality.  Using headers and sub-headers will enhance the readability of your article to a large extent.  It is also a good idea for you to keep your paragraphs short and concise.

It is important to take into account the people who will be reading the article.  Do not try to use big words to impress your readers.  A lot of people may not know what they mean and as a result, your articles will not be as effective.  Try to write all of your articles using plain, Basic English.

Your articles need to offer plenty of information.  However, this does not mean you should try to write a lengthy article.  Keep in mind that most readers do not have a long attention span.  If your article is too long, they may never make it to your resource box.

Some people try to write their own articles even though they do not necessarily have the skills to do so.  If writing is not exactly your strong point, then you should get someone else to handle the job.  However it is important to remember; hiring cheaper writers may not exactly be a good idea if they are unable to produce quality articles.

Keep in mind that even high-quality articles are virtually useless if no one reads them.  You want your articles to get ranked well in the search engines so they will enjoy plenty of traffic.  Therefore, you should look to incorporate keywords into your articles.

With all of this said, this does not mean quantity is not important.  Writing a lot of articles can be a good thing since you will have the potential to draw more visitors.  However, just make sure you never sacrifice quality in the process.
