If you are familiar with the likes if Kindle,Book Marketing Over Many Platforms Articles eBooks and of course print, you may be wondering which format is the best for you and your book? If you have just started to think about book marketing for your latest project you may feel yourself overwhelmed with the conflicting information about what is “best” for your book. Nowadays, publishers require so much more from an author than simply a manuscript neatly typed and packaged.  To be an author today and get a deal with the average publishing house you will need a lot more than pretty words on paper.

Today there are so many more platforms from which you are able to market your book and many of which will require that you do it personally as it is simply not within the bounds of the publishing house. Even if you are able to flog your latest manuscript to the publisher you will need to have a plan of action to follow up the book marketing strategy that you have not only plotted out but also budgeted for.

Today a press release will not count as your marketing strategy, nor will it do if you couple it with a well planned book tour, around your favorite states. These days you need to have marketing savvy and take much of the control yourself when it comes to getting your name and product out into the main arena. Today, much of your book marketing success will be your duty rather than that of your publishers. Finding a site like Tribal Author can work wonders for the self published or even mainstream published author.
