By nature people are curious to say the least so a little bit of reverse psychology might just help.

“Don’t click here if you are happy with your current income” could possibly grab the attention of a few people.

Use the right words in your banner ad to get people instantly interested. Words like new,Grab The Clicker! Articles amazing, fantastic, ultimate, etc. Do make sure you don’t mislead people though.

People don’t want to think that they are wasting their time by clicking on your banner so try to put a testimonial on your ad. This goes a long way to helping people understand your offer.

A good idea is to offer some sort of discount because again, by nature people are always after a bargain. Free gifts always go a long way to grabbing peoples attention.

If at all possible, find a famous person to represent your product. This will instil a confidence into peoples minds that will make them want to click your banner ad.

Also, the most obvious way is to tell people to click on your banner ad because believe it or not some people don’t know that you can click on banner ads.

People will be more likely to click on your banner if you state that there is no obligation or risk if they try your product. A guarantee along the lines of double your money back or lifetime money back will improve your chances of clickthroughs.

If people see the most important benefit of your product on your banner ad they will be more interested in taking a look, so include the major benefit to the customer on the ad.

I still think that the free gift option is the best idea though. I mean, who in their right mind would not want to receive a free gift just for clicking their mouse button ?
