Doing absolutely nothing can actually be productive. Here's how when it comes to email copywriting.

Hustle culture is everywhere in the business community of social media.

I don’t know about you,How to Be Productive While Doing Absolutely Nothing Articles but whenever I see all the content that’s put out, it makes me feel like I have to do something productive every single minute, otherwise my time is not being put to good use.

That along with parental and societal pressures almost makes me feel like I need to be in a workaholic state of mind all the time.

I either feel the need to read, write, or do something to build my email list.

Whatever work related it may be.

At one point, it got pretty bad to the point where I’d feel bad spending time on my hobbies or even with my friends.

But nowadays, I’ve taken steps back and learned to be OK with doing “non-productive” activities again. That’s why I established the “No Working on Sundays” rule for myself. I don’t schedule any meetings, I don’t do any client work, etc.

Even then, sometimes I’ll be doing “non-productive” activities and I’ll still end up being productive.

I’ll give you an example.

Everyday I block out a certain amount of time to walk away from my computer, lie in bed, and just let my thoughts wander. Admittedly, once in a while I’ll accidentally fall asleep.

But that’s not important.

The important thing is that during that moment, that’s when I come up with my best email ideas.

But I don’t just come up with one idea, I push myself to come up with at least three.

And if I write down three ideas and use one everyday, I’ll never have to worry about run out of ideas.

Try it out for yourself.

You might be amazed at what you’ll come up with. You might not just come up with email ideas, but also ideas for new products, services, blog posts, events, and podcast episodes.

Once you have those ideas, it’s then time to turn them into engaging content.
