I'm actively staying away from the world of politics. Here is the main reason why.

Ah,Let's Rap About Politics Articles politics.

Something that I feel has been getting so much more attention now more than how it used to years ago, especially since Trump took over the White House.

It’s everywhere now.

Everything you do and say can (and probably will) be politicized when you talk to the right group of people.

Something as simple as wearing masks has been politicized.

The Black Lives Matter movement.

Climate change.

Each party has their own agenda with its own list of pros and cons.

No matter which side you choose, there’s always going to be one part of the population that’s going to be satisfied with the decisions their political party leaders make, and another part that’s going to be unhappy.

The debating will never stop.

That’s why I’ve shunned myself from the world of politics.

Once you get involved, it’s hard to pull yourself out. It becomes an addiction. It’s constantly going to suck away your precious time and energy.

Facebook is a great example that proves this.

When I attended David Neagle’s live event, the Art of Success Summit, I befriended a business coach and added her to my Facebook friend’s list.

Whenever I read her status updates, a lot of her content is very political. Nowadays, she rants about why wearing masks is ridiculous. And every time she does, there’s always a fight that breaks out between two of the many commenters.

What’s the point of arguing with someone online, who you’ve never met, where neither of you are going to come out winning?

In my opinion, your time would be better spent elsewhere.

Either way, this coach gets a lot of attention from her posts, and more attention means more business.

So in the end, there is a lesson you can learn from the world of politics.
