How to print flyers according to a budget

One of the most economical ways to quickly get a word out is to print flyers.  These fantastic little promotional tools can be extremely inexpensive and simple or glossy and flashy,Printing Flyers on a Budget Articles albeit more expensive.  Whatever your needs or financial limitations, flyers can be made to fit into almost any budget.

Whenever you print on a tight budget, you run the risk of cutting corners in areas that may compromise the effectiveness of your promotional campaign.  Keep these tips in mind for cutting costs while also optimizing the promotional value of your flyers:

- Cut the color – while you probably do not want to handout black and white flyers, this does not mean you have to print full color, glossy photos to be effective.  For example, print on colored paper.  You may also be able to save considerable money if you only print with two colors: black and red ink on yellow paper, for instance.

- Cut the paper – you may be able to get two, three, or even four flyers on a single piece of paper.  Then all you have to do is have the paper printed and cut it later at your convenience.  Also, your local print shop can help you quickly cut literally hundreds of pages all at once.

- Use the back – don’t forget to print on both sides of the paper.  This gives you more room for content while also cutting your costs in paper.  For instance, you may be able to cut your paper into two flyers and still have plenty of room for all the content you need by printing on both the front and the back.

- Print with the pros – for sheer volume, your commercial printing company will easily cut your costs.  Your little ink-jet printer will consume far more ink than you might imagine.

By the time you order more ink and refill ink cartridges, your print shop will have the project finished, cut, and ready for distribution.  All of these services, and yet you will probably still pay way less using your printing company than your office printer.
