When purchasing plastic pens, try to find pens you enjoy writing with as this will yield much better results and give your business the respect it deserves.

Metal Gift Pens: Metal pens are available quite inexpensively especially those that are generic brands. There are also a lot of name brand pens such as Parker, Cross, Waterman and Lamy that are considerably more expensive. I often recommend purchasing a small quantities of good quality metal pens to give away to your top customers. Your big customers can also receive the odd plastic pen from you but you want to ensure they also have a metal gift pen that they really enjoy using. It is worth noting that people usually like to write with heavier pens with black ink refills. There are a lot of light weight aluminium pens on the market but you should test them before making a large purchase and compare them to the heavier, more expensive models. At the end of the day, you need to purchase gift pens that are within your budget and even the aluminium pens are better quality than most plastic pen.

The good thing about metal pens is that you usually do not need to purchase them in large quantities so you will not need to break the bank to give your top customers a nice gift that they will love, use often and remember you by.
