In the vast expanse of the World Wide Web, there are more websites than there are people on the planet. This means that, in one way or another, you're competing with billions of websites for your slice of the traffic pie. To optimize your marketing endeavors, you need a comprehensive strategy that employs a wide array of marketing tools in a consistent and simultaneous manner. I've recently devised such a strategy for my own online businesses, and the results have been nothing short of remarkable. I've dubbed it "The Unyielding Approach to Digital Marketing," as it involves a relentless, all-out marketing effort.

The Five-Step Strategy

Previously,The Unyielding Approach to Digital Marketing Articles my approach to promoting my site was disorganized and sporadic, resulting in fluctuating traffic, mostly on the lower end. However, since implementing this new strategy, I've seen consistent growth in traffic and a significant increase in sales.

Step One: Daily Ad Submissions

The first step involved dedicating a portion of each working day solely to ad submissions. This is a daily task, with no exceptions.

Step Two: Keeping a Submission Log

The second step was to maintain a log of all my search engine and ad submissions. This log includes the site's name and URL, the ad copy, the date of submission, the ad's duration, and the resubmission date. This is crucial because if you don't know when to resubmit, you risk either over-submitting and being labeled a spammer, or under-submitting and not fully reaping the benefits of those sites.

Step Three: Expanding the Marketing Toolset

The third step was to expand my marketing toolset. Previously, I had confined my marketing to FFA (Free For All) pages, online classified ads, and the occasional ezine ad. I've since added banners, links on other sites, numerous ezine ads (both free and paid), joined and mailed to several opt-in email groups, and even ventured into offline advertising. Additionally, I've increased my use of the resources I had been using.

Step Four: Monitoring Traffic and Ad Results

The fourth step involves continuously monitoring my traffic and tracking the results of my various ads. If a particular ad resource isn't yielding results, I discard it. Naturally, I'm always on the lookout for new marketing tools to add to my arsenal.

Step Five: Watching the Growth

The final step is the most rewarding. I get to watch as my traffic and bank account grow.

The key to this straightforward yet effective strategy is consistency. If you have the self-discipline to stick to this regimen for a month or two, you'll never be short of traffic to your site.
