Pendulum Dowsing - How To Use A Pendulum

Pendulum dowsing is one of the most effective ways to tap into and develop your intuition and has a variety of uses for everyone. It is surprisingly simple to do but takes a little practice.

How to hold a pendulum - For best results you should ensure that only you touch and use your pendulum. The pendulum cord should be held lightly between the thumb and forefinger of whichever hand you use. Make sure that the wrist of the hand holding the pendulum points downwards.

How to determine your 'Yes' and 'No' - The first thing to find out before trying to use a pendulum is which way it swings for 'yes' and 'no' as this varies between people. You can do this by asking of it a question you already know the answer to. To determine which is your 'yes' direction, ask the pendulum a question which you consciously know requires a 'yes' answer. It will swing one of four ways: clockwise, anticlockwise, side-to-side or backwards and forwards. This will depend entirely upon each individual. When you have found your 'yes' direction, ask the pendulum a question which you know requires a 'no' answer. The pendulum will then swing in an entirely different direction indicating your individual 'no' answer. Swinging back and forth in a straight line can mean 'do not know' or dubious. Never influence the pendulum to your own advantage - at all times stand by the TRUTH.

It takes practice - With practice you will be able to discover many things and begin to tap the forces of intuition and develop your psychic potential. HoweverFree Articles, it should always be remembered that the pendulum is a metaphysical experiment and you should not let it rule your life.

An example of how you can use the pendulum - The pendulum can help you determine which foods are good for your body. For example you can hold the pendulum over a Vitamin B tablet and ask "Is this good for me?" to which you will get an answer. But to be more specific you could ask "Does my body need this now?" which may give you a different answer.
