Hello my friends,How To Improve Your Google Ranking And Get To Google First Page Articles George Tiganus here and today I'm going to reveal to you some advanced information about how to get your website to rank high on the first page of Google. Being on the first page of search results for keywords pertaining to your content will substantially improve your site's chances of being viewed by the searcher, thus increasing your traffic.

Traffic is profit!

Let me tell you about a thing called SEO. SEO is the acronym for Search Engine Optimization, and that's what gets you the high ranks on Google and other search engines. This kind of optimization depends on various aspects, and we will discuss some of them, so that you can understand what they mean and how you can make them work for you.

You must be wondering what is the most influential of those factors on your Google Rankings, and if you asked me, I would clearly say BACKLINKING.

But what exactly is backlinking?

First of all you need to imagine the search engines like non-stop analyzers of the content from all the websites on the internet.

That is a pretty accurate description of the search engines' job. They study the information on each website, they determine how relevant that information is on a particular topic and use this as a criterion for their rankings. But content is not the only relevant thing. There are countless sites on pretty much every topic you can think of, and a lot of them have content just as valid as yours.

One other sign that a website relevant to the subject it deals with is if it's referenced externally via links. These links can make the difference between two sites with comparable content because the one which has more of them will be regarded as more useful to internet users.

An incoming link, or an inbound link, or a backlink is a link on some other website that sends people to your website. In theory, the number of backlinks of your website should be directly proportional to the quality of its content.

A backlink is recognized by Google as a recommendation so, naturally, they consider them important in establishing page ranks.

Think about Wikipedia and how they always show up within the first results for almost any search. Why do you think that is? 75,000,000 domain backlinks!!! (I know it is insane, but it's TRUE!)

So backlinks are THAT important. Then how do I get them?

There are several ways to do that and the most common are:
- reciprocated links - finding a site to link to and have it link back to yours
- forum links - using signature links on forums
- commenting on blogs - go to high ranked blogs and add a link to your comment
- links from other pages, such as video sharing websites, article directories etc.

Naturally, the more such backlinks your site has,the higher it will be ranked on search engines. But be careful, don't use automatic backlink generators and think that you've solved this problem! This could work for a while but you can get seriously penalized and even banned from Google, which would make all your efforts useless.
