Krakoosh... How To Change Your Luck

No annotation specified

When 12 people go out and buy a lottery ticket, they all have an equal chance of winning. Nothing can change our chance of winning. Our luck, on the other hand, can be changed based on our actions. I am never lucky at the lottery, because I never buy a ticket!

In America we have FREEDOMS which are not available in other parts of the word, so for starters we are already lucky based on our ancestors’ choices. What does freedom mean?  If I could hear you answer now, I bet you would say CHOICE.  Freedom is the right to make choices.   Think about this:  Most Americans voluntarily give up their freedom to choose.  Most Americans trudge through life resigned to what ever comes their way as if it is a sentence to prison. The first step in achieving health and prosperity is to take advantage of the luck of your ancestors and exercise your freedom of choice!

Let’s start with our thoughts. As a business and healthy living speaker, coach and TV personality, I am well-known all over town. People come up to me all the time and tell me all about their problems. These are some of the things I hear most:  “I can’t lose weight.”   “I know I should go on a diet.”  “I have no energy.”  If I ask, “How are you?”  these are the answers I get: “OK”, “Getting by”, even “Better than dirt”, or how about this one, “OK for a dirty old man”, or this one: “Not too bad.”

What does that mean exactly, you are a little bad or what?

Do you hear what I hear?  Negative, negative, negative.  Napoleon Hill, author of Think and Grow Rich said " People are creators of their own misfortunes because of the negative beliefs which are picked up by the subconscious mind and translated into the physical equivalent.”  Deb Bixler says: "Your thoughts predict the future."  You are what you say you are. When you say you can not lose weight, then you are right. When you say you are only a little better than dirt, you will feel like dirt.

I challenge you to change your thoughts and word choices to positive affirmations. You are what you say you are: How about these: “I am losing weight every day.”  “I love to eat fruits and veggies.”  “I am terrific.”  “This is the best day of my life.”   “I am enjoying life!”

I can guarantee you two things when you practice this. First people will look at you funny sometimes, and second you will feel better! Your word choices are your future!  When you tell yourself negative things they will come true in your life, and when you tell yourself positive things they come true in your life. Happiness, the American dream is definitely an inside job. You must choose to be happy.  Your word and thought choices are your future!  Take advantage of your luck to be born an American and choose to live a healthy and happy life!

Deb Bixler, Lifestyle and Business Coach, believes in living life to the fullest through positive choices daily.  Life is like riding a wave.  You can let it crash over your head and pound you into misery.  Or you can ride it like a champion living on the edge and enjoy the excitement of life.

The word KraKoosh is a surf term which means: (noun): the sound a wave makes when it crashes over your head. And (verb): the excitement of riding a wave on the edge.  Like surfingArticle Search, there is a fine line between excitement and misery.  Are you living life with an exciting “surfers” edge?
