Low self-esteem is like being in prison. Internally you are feeling frustrated at being trapped. You are isolated and have little self-worth or value in anything you think. Like prison, you personal freedom is severely compromised.

Your level of self-esteem refers to your perception of yourself. Whether you think you are inadequate and incompetent or empowered and confident. In short, if you think bad things will happen, they well as your brain thinks that’s what you told it to do. The more negative your thoughts become the more you are imprisoning yourself with feelings of insecurity and self doubt. You cannot make decisions for yourself and just start missing out on the world going by.

You start worrying about what other people might be thinking about you! That is just a crazy place to be at. Take control and make decisions based on what you want, not what you THINK other people want from you.

If you are experiencing life where you feel you are not good enough, you find that you are always putting yourself down, taking action is overwhelming and you are worrying about your image, you have a self-esteem issue and need to sort it out.

Start doing things that you like doing and experience enjoyment over.

If you know something is a weakness just find a way of making it irrelevant to what you want from life. This trait only has the power you give it. If it is not needed then the power is gone.

Stop putting up with all the frustration and loneliness and get on with what you want in life!
