How do you clean your microwave oven? Do you use commercial chemical-based products or you prefer to prepare your own cleaning solutions? Read on if you want to learn how to clean your microwave oven without any chemicals.

Most housewives use strong detergents to clean their microwave ovens. They think that the stubborn grease and cooked-on food stains can't be cleaned with anything else but store products. This is not true,Methods to Clean a Microwave Oven Without Chemicals Articles though, and there are a lot of easy methods to clean a microwave without chemicals. Here are three of them, which I learned from an article written by a professional cleaner London:

Take a bowl full of water and pour a cup of white vinegar in it. Put the bowl into the appliance and set the timer on at least 4 minutes. Once the water starts boiling and emitting steam, the cooked-on food stains and dirt will loosen up and you will be able to remove them with a single wipe with a damp sponge. If you don't like the smell of vinegar you can replace it with freshly squeezed lemon juice. It has the same cleaning properties.

Saturate a sponge with white vinegar and dip it in baking soda. Rub your microwave with the sponge and all stains will come off after a few minutes. If the spots are too stubborn dip the sponge in salt after the bicarbonate of soda. Its abrasive properties will help you remove the whole dirt.

Prepare a paste of half cup vinegar, one cup bicarbonate of soda and a tablespoon of salt. Spread the solution in the appliance and let it dry. When you scrape it with a wooden spatula afterwards all stains will come off with it. Just wipe with a damp cloth in the end.
