This heroic jack russell has given his life to save five children from an attack by two pit bulls. According to reports, the dog have charged at the pit bulls and held them at bay thus giving the children time to get away. The George was badly ripped apart thus had to be put down. In 2009, he was posthumously awarded the top honor for pet bravery, the PDSA Gold Medal. The award is an animal equivalent of the George Cross. Max VI. Wishbone is the star in the television show of the same name. A white jack russell terrier with brown and black spots, Wishbone believe that huamns can hear him if they just paid attention. Barkley. A jack russell terrier named Barkley appeared in the 2003 movie "The Liitle Magician". In this movie, he plays the role of a dog that can work magic. Barkley also appeared on TV shows such as Burke's Law and on films such as "Clean Slate" in 1994 and in "Earnest Scared Stupid and Earnest Goes to Jail". Chalky. Chalky is owned by restaurateur and chef Rick Stein. Chalky has his own line of merchandise such as plushes, tea towels, art prints, art paw prints and even has his own real ale called Chalky's Bite.
