The famous magazine Forbes reported that the world’s most influential person is the Chinese Presdent Hu Jintao. There are 68 million people on the earth in all. The most important ones are the68 persons who are leaders, religious leaders and entrepreneurs. We can define their effects from four aspects.

Firstly, does the man affect many people? This is the first aspect we need to consider when selecting such a character. To the national leaders, we need to consider the national population, while to religious figures, we should measure the quantity of the believers. To the chief executives, we calculate the employees, while to media, we consider the quantity of the audience.

Secondly, whether their financial condition is the same as their status is also an aspect to consider. That means compare between the political leaders and chief executive officers from different companies is just what Forbes does for the ranking. Then we’d like to check how many fields have they influenced. Finally, they must actively use these influences. The editors obtain the final ranking list according to the above four factors. Chinese President Hu Jintao is listed as the global most influential person.

President Hu is the supreme leader of the first populous country and leads the population of more than 1.3 billion. Recently, China has overtaken Japan to become the world’s second largest economic entity. According to a reliable prediction, China will surpass the United States as the world’s largest economic entity in 25 years.

Obama is the second one, then followed by the king of Saudi Abdullah, the prime minister of Russia Mr Putin, Pope Benedict xvi, the British prime minister Cameron and the India Congress President Sonia Gandhi. And the founder of Microsoft Bill Gates is the tenth one.

In addition, the CEO Wrren Buffett of Berlshire company in the United States and the heir of wal-mart ( Christy Walton) are also on this list.  

China still makes rapid growth during the global financial crisis and recession, even in the most severe situations; the growth rate can also achieve less than 9%. As a result, currently China has the largest capital in the world—2.4 trillion foreign exchange reserves. Although China was once the inflows destination of capital, now it increasingly becomes the capital resource. China’s state-owned enterprises are scraping the resources of overseas.
