Book on Christianity - Chew them well before you digest them

True, the modern world and its lure has somehow robed mankind of the thing what is called as understanding of the religion.

This cue is from the famous essayist Bacon, he was smart to say that that some books are to be tasted and the others to be chewed and digested. The religious books of the merit are the ones which are to be chewed and digested for they must be read for the message they carry and for better understanding of religion.

True, the modern world and its lure has somehow robed mankind of the thing what is called as understanding of the religion and this why people dare to ask that “Is God dead?” The twenty-first century is the age of misplaced faith for mankind has lost its faith in the darkness of doubt and disbelief. The ample knowledge stands for a state of knowing nothing, nothing that leads to path of light, to the path of God.

Every year thousands of books join the prestigious league called the books on Christianity but then a reality check would reveal that many of these books are written by confused pens and lead nowhere but then there are some books which have the merit to bring light to the soul and direct it to the path that leads to the abode of God.

Contrary to the general belief that the books on Christianity are for better understanding of the religion, it can be argued that the books on Christianity are just the manipulation of the belief with which every Christian is born with or rather learns to believe during the course of his or her life. True, the books on Christianity hardly say anything new but then render a new voice and new ink to what that has already been said and done years before and for years.

Let us dare to ask one vital question; is there any need for many books on Christianity when there is the Holy Bible? Surprisingly enough the answer is yes. Yes there is the need for more books on Christianity because somehow mankind has forgotten the language of Bible. Christians must learn the path that leads to the Bible and towards the greater concept to Christianity. The mindset that compels mankind to disbelief can only be eradicated through accepting the modern perspective to religion. The numerous books on Christianity and on any other religion which on many occasions make the best sellers are the ones which help to recognize the power that is within the human soul the power to recognize the potential of a religion like Christianity.
