Hope is the light which gets brighter,

That shines deep into our soul,

And hope sings a loud tune with no words and a feeling,

That is when God calls us in from the cold.

In the Biblical sense to Hope is to anticipate with pleasure,Hope, a Gift from God, God of Hope Articles earnestly expect and wait in patient confidence and taking refuge in the "God of hope."

The spiritual hope that we have available to us in Jesus Christ surpasses the concept of all worldly hopes which are a combination of expectations and desires or merely wishful thinking. Spiritual hope not only promises the empowerment we need to live a life of victory over sin, but also gives us the joyful expectation of an eternal life which we will spend with God in heaven.

Hope is what drives us to sail forward in the sea of life where no real prediction is really possible, and be encouraged to walk with God through whatever life circumstance we are facing.

Spiritual Hope is miraculous and timeless. Hope is saying Yes to Life. “Where there is life there is hope” which is confirmed over and over. Hope personifies spiritual energy, and this divine virtue is heavenly food for thought. Hope is termed a theological virtue because its immediate object is God, as is true of the other two essentially infused virtues, faith and charity. Spiritual hope is grounded in the unseen connection we each have to our God, and is a gift from God, which is a manifestation of excellence, goodness and power.

To overcome the stress and pressures of this uncertain world; Hope is precious because God is letting us draw from his reservoir of power all the necessary support we need. God is blessing all of us to make spiritual life the story of success. Hope is strength for our journey in this world. Life, happiness and peace are contingent on our Spiritual Hope.

God promises all of us who believe in Him eternal life. Suffering and pain of some sort will be a part of our life at some point in our journey through life. God does not promise us that He will explain our suffering or fix all our problems right now. Sometimes God just says, "I love you absolutely, trust that I know what I'm doing." And then sometimes God says, "Make the best of your situation."

To maintain a sense of tranquility around all the suffering spiritual hope is able to detach itself from worldly desires. Do we really need to have the specific answer for our suffering to have hope?  Do we need to know the specific reason for our suffering? Whether God heals our suffering or fixes all the problems in this world and our life, now or later, God will always do what is best for us.  Jesus suffered and died on the cross for us, and just knowing that a loving and caring God is in charge should be enough.

Hope is the anchor and the foundation of trust, and with trust to form faith in God. The spiritual anchor of hope cannot move, being anchored in God Himself, and thus being steadfast and secure: Heb.6:19. Hope is the anchor for our soul.
