Imagine a scenario where you're able to close, sell, or sign up 10%-30% of all prospects who come across your product, service, or business opportunity. Uncover a little-known secret that can unlock a torrent of hidden profits for your business. This is not just impressive, it's downright astounding, especially when you consider that a 2%-3% response in direct marketing is considered excellent. This secret is not new, it's been tested and proven to work, and you can use it today to increase your profits. It costs virtually nothing to implement, takes very little time, and is completely legal. This secret is known as Sequenced Mailing or Compounding.

The Power of Sequenced Mailing

I was first introduced to this potent mailing strategy by a man named Dan Kenney. If you're not familiar with Dan,Boost Your Profits by Closing 10%-30% of Your Prospects: A Guaranteed Strategy Articles he's a legend in the world of direct response marketing. I highly recommend getting your hands on as much of his material as you can and studying it passionately.

This marketing strategy works best when used with a "multi-step" lead generation program. It's simple. You run an attention-grabbing lead-generating ad to pique a prospect's interest, prompting them to call your voicemail number or email your autoresponder to request more information. Your ad's sole purpose is to get your prospect to respond and request more information. That's the first step of the "multi-step" program.

The next step is to send them your sales letter via mail or "automatically" by email using your autoresponder. This can be done online and offline with classifieds, small display ads, banner ads, direct email, opt-in email, newspaper ads, radio ads, etc.

The Common Mistake in Direct Marketing

Most people make the mistake of sending their sales letter only once and expecting a landslide of orders to start pouring in. That's not how it works. The secret to closing 10%-30% of your prospects is to create a successful sequenced "follow-up" mailing campaign. This underutilized secret can have a significant impact on your response rate and profits.

How Sequenced Mailing Works

You send your first mailing to the prospect, and after a few days, you send a second mailing, known as a "SECOND NOTICE" letter, to those who didn't respond to your first mailing. The time between your first mailing and your follow-up mailings should be every 7 days if you're using email and every 20 days via postal mail.

If the prospect still hasn't responded to your second notice letter, you send a third letter called a "THIRD NOTICE", then a fourth letter, and a fifth letter. Each letter references the previous letter sent. Your prospect needs to be exposed to your marketing message at least 5-7 times to create a maximum response, with a minimum of 3 times. The last letter in your sequence is called the "FINAL NOTICE" letter. This is the last chance for your prospect to respond.

The Profitability of Sequenced Mailing

Let's say you mailed out 10,000 email letters to an opt-in list you've rented. A 3% response is 300 people inquiring about your product. Now, what if you put those 300 people on a sequenced mailing campaign and send them 3,4,5, or 7 mailings? If you closed 10%, that's 30 people. 20%? That equals 60 new customers or sign-ups. And 30%? That's 90 brand new customers, clients, recruits, or sign-ups.

This strategy is incredibly powerful. Remember, you really can close 10-30% of your prospects. Try this and see if you don't boost your profits immediately. It will work for you -- guaranteed!
