Introduce her to the basic mechanics of menstruation, such as what it is or why and when a girl gets it. It’s necessary for her to understand that it is a natural phenomenon and it is common to all women. Teach her how to deal with her periods, discuss the various aspects of menstrual cycles, such as different brands of sanitary pads, pain during periods and duration of the cycle.  Talk all about it— After menstruation, a girl is naturally potent to conceive. Discuss with your daughter about the sexual behavior among teenagers and its consequences. Telling her about contraception is also a part of her ; however, make it clear that you don’t support teenage sex.
