polo shirts can contain any logo, with the team name besides it. This
method of t shirt
printing has many obvious advantages over sportswear that one can find off
the shelf. The first is a feeling of uniqueness and individuality. If a team
uniform is off a shelf than the team simply becomes only a team, a group of
people defined by some cheap t shirts. However, with a custom printed uniform a
team player knows they are the only individual in the world with that specific
uniform. It brings to focus the contribution that person has to the team and
the responsibility and hard work that the uniform represents.
Custom sportswear also is necessary for competitive play. It may be
intimidating for a team to go up against another team that does have their own
set of custom sportswear. How will a team with sportswear off the shelf at a
sports store be remembered by other teams competing against them?
Another reason not to use cheap off the shelf sportswear is it is kind of hard
to strip a player from their uniform if they can simply just go buy another one
at the local sports store. When a player is stripped off an official sports
team uniform, there is simply no way to get it back. A player will feel that
they have to work hard to avoid their uniform being stripped.
Using non-custom sportswear can also just feel downright phony. When a sports
team feels phony than players are much more likely to drop out. This effect can
quickly multiply, resulting in several or more players dropping from the team.
Players don't like to feel like they are wasting their time, and cheap uniforms
with no official markings can really support this type of feeling.
The last reason a sports team should have official sports wear is because it’s
who they are. They are a member of a team, and thus deserve to be treated like
one. Besides, would you want your players children to look at their sports
pictures years from now and then have to ask them what team they played for?
