December is trying to begin, Post-Rut Hunting: The best hunting tactics Articles bucks are cooling off from their seasonal instincts and rut is fading down to its rutting stage end. After the season of chasing does day and night, sure thing, these bucks grew tired and all they need is a place to make themselves feel good. Instincts will tell them that they have to gain back the weight they’ve lost during their breeding frenzy. They’re gonna be spending their lives now sleeping and feeding to gain enough strength to endure the hard winter just like every wildlife. Many hunters consider this as one of the best times for a hunting trip. And I have my reasons here;

First, since rut is a strenuous activity for bucks, they’re going to be weary after the rut. Second, they’re going to find places where they could have enough cover and food in near areas. Third, bucks are more tolerant from each other at this moment so it is common for us to know that they will share one core area. And last, they’re gonna spend more sleep than roaming around the woods.

So if you really aim for huntinggiant bucks, you just have to locate the place where they have stayed for the winter season. Areas approximately near to a place where there is enough food. If you might see one, then have a good and quiet hub for a ground blind. But be more cautious in creating your place, they might be tired but they still have tolerance for human intrusion.
