Palmer and Tebow Gearing Up for Week 7 NFL StartsWe are nearing the half waypoint of the NFL season and this is when we usually start to see injuries take their toll on teams,Super Bowl Tickets and Packages - Super Bowl Tickets and packages 2012 Articles and franchises start to make moves with personnel based on their position in the standings. This week, the struggling Denver Broncos are replacing Kyle Orton with fan favorite Tim Tebow. Tebow played pretty well in several starts last season and he gets his first start of the 2011 campaign in a familiar area against a team that is well below average defensively, the Miami Dolphins. The Carson Palmer era begins in Oakland, and the new Raider QB would be hard pressed to find a better team to kick off his career in the silver and black, then against the horrible Kansas City Chiefs. The Raiders will still look to run first with Darren McFadden and Michael Bush, but Palmer has a big arm and should get to show it off a bit.In Dallas, the Cowboys will be without their starting tailback Felix Jones and that will give two upstart backs a chance to see quality game action this week against the St.Louis Rams. Former Oklahoma Sooner, Demarco Murray garnered ten carriers against New England and will likely get the bulk of the carries this week. Fourth year back Tashard Choice is the other option for the Cowboys. Neither player has separated himself from the other, so even with Murray getting the bulk of the carries, Choice will get to handle the ball some as well against a very week Ram run defense. A couple of new quarterbacks will also be in action this weekend as the Washington Redskins will be starting former Dolphin, John Beck in place of Rex Grossman, who threw four picks last week against Philadelphia. The Minnesota Vikings may have ended the Donovan McNabb era and began the Christian Ponder era a little earlier than expected. Donovan has been ineffective and Ponder has been tabbed as the QB of the future. Apparently, the future is now in Minnesota. And don’t look now, but there could be a Terrell Owens sighting in the NFL very soon. The former 49’er, Cowboy, Bill, and Bengal wide out has recovered from his knee injury and the Tennessee Titans may have a spot. The Titans number one receiver, Kenny Britt, has been lost for the season and the 37-year-old Owens might be the guy that Tennessee turns to.While players in the NFL have to wait until the beginning of February to make their Super Bowl plans, you don’t have to!
