Just like any other profession, you will have to begin by going to school. You must take baseball umpire training classes in the school. There are two official and professional umpire training schools in the United States of America for you to select from. Both of these umpire schools are approved by the professional baseball umpire corporation which is also known as PBUC, the association which sign up, promotes and manages working baseball umpires throughout the small leagues. At these schools for higher baseball education, in the off season working umpires turned instructor to guide students via the basics of on baseball field mechanics and the complex, old and always evolving, certified rules of the baseball sport.
These two umpire training schools are,
• The Jim Evans Academy of Professional Umpiring
• The Harry Wendelstedt Umpire School
Both of these umpire training schools runs a six weeks course every January, in the state of Florida, where baseball students from the whole world undergo a concentrated and extreme schedule of classroom as well as on field work. The last two weeks of the baseball courses focus gradually on performance evaluation. The baseball students future capability and ability in the field of professional baseball officiating is carefully considered. By program finish, the top five to ten percent students from each umpire training videos  school are provided an opportunity to attend a special appraisal week held by the professional baseball umpire corporation, generally this week held in the march of every year. Here baseball students will fight for real umpiring jobs in the small baseball leagues. 


The competition in both schools is very hard and tough. Most years both of these umpire training videos schools will see an attendance of more than two hundred students. Most of the students of these schools simply take what they have educated back to their local baseball umpiring organizations and apply it to their on going part time and amateur careers. Without the suggestion of these schools and they will never make it to the professional and official baseball game.
