Cheap Camera Phones - Options That Won't Break The Bank

Camera phones are all the rage now days.  They are your alternative to carrying around the digital.  If you do not want the obligation of a contract, or the two-hundred dollar phones, it is a possibility to still keep up with your friends while not breaking the bank.  Some companies will offer cheap camera phones. These phones work almost as well as the expensive phones.  You may want to pick your phone and company based on the area you live in, it is smart to see which one will cover your area the best.  In my area our best option would be Verizon.  Although we don't have reception everywhere, it still has the best coverage.

Another option is to get pay as you go phones.  When you use this option, it allows you the user to set how much money you want to use on your phone that month.  Be wary though, rates with pay as you go phones are often double the price of a regular phone with a contract.   Also some of the pay as you go phones do not have the best reception.  You can't be as mobile as you would like to be.  One upside to this type of phone, is that you don't have to keep track of the minutes used.

When choosing your camera phone, make sure the phone as well as the plan (if that is what you would like) covers your needs.  If you are the type of person who loves to send pix messages make sure your plan covers this.  For instance I know that my husband and I have a package that allows us so many text and pix messages a month for one set price.  If we did not have this option, each message would cost us twenty-five cents.  Since my husband sends and receives anywhere from a hundred to two hundred messages in a month, the package was the best option for us.  We also chose a plan that allows us to call from anywhere without roaming charges.

Remember, cheap camera phones or expensive camera phones are not worth it if they do not meet your needs.
