Since we've had it I've been most impressed with the variety of choices and how incredibly easy it is to use. Some programs are set up poorly and are frustrating to navigate, but this is hands down one of the most user-friendly services I've come across. There really are 3000+ stations to view which is by far my favorite feature. I've never NOT been able to find something to enjoy watching. Because there is such a variety, it allows us both to watch things we weren't able to before.

Just recently my fiancé and I were window shopping for a new TV. We have a 32-inch flat screen at the moment in which we're very happy with but we can never agree on what to watch. Most of the time he'll want to watch an action or sci-fi movie or tune into the big game that's going on and needless to say,Enjoy Watching TV Again Articles they just don't do it for me. We've wanted to purchase a second TV for a while now but it has been hard to find exactly what we want for a decent price, along with the added problem of only having one cable hook-up in our home. I had decided to do some research on online TV subscriptions and a lot of them seemed fake, not very credible, and without many options. A friend of the family had recently been bragging about his satellite TV he had set up to my fiancé. Quite honestly I was a bit apprehensive, thinking it was just going to be some sports subscription or monthly program he had purchased. We decided to check it out anyways and made sure it was the same service our friend was telling us about. It turned out to be quite opposite of what I was expecting and included over 3000 stations which were national and worldwide channels. I'm very interested in foreign countries and we both love traveling so this excited me. It also worked out well that it wasn't an actual TV service like a satellite dish or digital cable, but Satellite TV for your PC or laptop. This of course would not only take care of our only having one cable hook-up issue but also enable my not having to suffer through programs I'm not interested in. Because our friend was so happy with it, we trusted his judgment (after all he DID purchase it for himself), and it really seemed to be what we needed, so we decided to go for it.

At first I thought we would have to pay a monthly subscription like any other service I had come across, but Satellite TV for PC doesn't work like that. It's basically a one time fee to purchase the software and as long as you have an internet connection, you're all set. Because there is such a variety, it allows us both to watch things we weren't able to before. Live sports games that aren't featured on regular cable channels, international stations, and tons of movies and music channels are just some examples of what we've enjoyed most about having Satellite TV for PC.

One thing that I wish were different would be for the stations to be available for regular TV and not restricted to PC and laptop use. We're looking into possibly hooking up our laptop to our TV with an S-Video cable to see if it would work. There's also such an enormous variety of stations to choose from it can make it difficult to decide on what to watch.

The Good: there are SO many channels and stations to choose from that you'll always have something to watch, there aren't any other fees or charges after paying one time for the software, it's incredibly easy to use, and there's no waiting time or shipping fees – you just download the software online.

The Bad: it's restricted to your PC and laptop, there are a lot of choices and it takes a while to find your favorite stations.
