Today we are hearing different rumors about the iPhone 5. Apple has yet to deny or confirm them.
Apple is still quiet about the actual specs and features of the iPhone 5. Because of this, tons of rumors are now out. There are so many speculations and rumors about it that it is just too hard for us not to get all too excited about it.
There is one rumor about Apple ordering 4.6" screens for the 5th generation iPhone. Again, it is hard to believe it since the source of the news is unnamed.
After this rumor came out, another report stated that Apple might keep its 3.5" screen for their latest handset. But with it, new features will be added on this handset. There are also some who says that this handset will be released come October of this year. There is also a rumor that suggests this handset will sport a 4" screen and will keep the same shape and design of its famous predecessors.
There are speculations that say this phone will ship with 4G LTE, but if this is true then the latest iPhone needs to be thicker or bigger than its predecessors. This is because it needs to house a larger circuit board and bigger battery as well. But then again, this is the very reason why Apple did not implement the said LTE technology on the iPhone 4S.
Apple also applied for new patent application. This is for their 3D imaging camera that applies both for their videos and still photography. The phone's new camera will incorporate depth-detection sensors in the likes of RADAR, LIDAR, and Laser. This will then create 3D imagery via stereo disparity maps. The camera is also said to utilize advanced luminance and chrominance for its superior color accuracy. If you look at the patent application, then this could be a potential new feature of the iPhone 5.
There is also a huge buzz regarding a universal remote control feature on this new iPhone. Again, this is based on reports about Apple's latest patent application. The said handset might get this new universal remote feature in the future. If this is true, then you can easily control your HDTV and other entertainment devices with this handset. Now, that is a new and cool feature indeed.
One of the coolest features that you want to be included on this handset is the iWallet. This will allow the phone's user to control their financial accounts while only using this handset. This will also allow you to complete financial transactions (via credit cards) through your handset and via the phone's NFC technology.
