The world of mobile apps has been booming since 2009. At present, App Store has more than 500, 000 applications while Android Market has not been trailing far behind as the app count has crossed the 400,000 mark there. It is great news for the users, but one has to accept the fact that finding good apps has become harder than ever before. I have listed three apps here, which I hope could impress users a lot.

My Video Diary: This app has already been featured in our articles. The update has made me mention it again. Let me explain about it briefly. My Video Diary lets users make daily entries with multimedia files such as videos,My Video Diary, Winner Poker, Reaxtor 3D – Three Great Apps to Try Out in 2012 Articles audio files and images. They can also set password to restrict access to their entries. Now the update allows users to disable the password after setting it. Previously it was not possible. It has also come with iCloud syncing and iTunes sharing to facilitate users in accessing information across all the iOS devices. My Video Diary is compatible with iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPod touch (3rd generation), iPod touch (4th generation) and iPad and it requires iOS 5.0 or later. It costs USD 2.99.

Winner Poker: This Android app is loaded with two of the top Poker games - Omaha High and Texas Hold'em. The UI is colorful and the graphics is awesome in this app and that’s how it manages to make it to our list. Winner Poker provides a great chance for socializing as it lets users get acquainted with millions of poker lovers around the world. After installing Winner Poker, all the users need to do is create a new account or login with Facebook and select a table of their preference to start playing. And of course, Poker games would help users improve their mental skills. Winner Poker is one of the most popular Poker game for Android and it needs Version 1.6 or up. This app is available at the Android Market at free of cost.  

Reaxtor 3D: This app adds a whole new dimension – a third dimension to the old Peg Solitaire game. The objective of the game is smashing the atoms in a nuclear reactor run by a mad scientist gorilla. There is a variety of 3D shapes such as cubes, spheres, cylinders, pyramids and diamonds and the users need to spin, flip and twist them to solve. As it is loaded with 400 unique puzzles, users will never run out of challenges. Reaxtor 3D is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad and it requires iOS 3.0 or later. This app costs USD 1.99. There is also a free version called Reaxtor FreeD available at the App Store. 

Around 30 billion mobile apps have been downloaded by the users so far. It shows people love apps as they want to customize their devices with things that they actually like. I believe that three apps listed here would deliver the magic for users. As these apps won’t cost much, one can certainly try them!
