The PS3 and Nintendo Wii are two systems that have been out for a little while now,Nintendo Wii Up Against The PS3 Articles long enough to see what we like about them and what their differences are that are worth mentioning. If you`re on the market for a new system then find out which one sounds more appealing to you.

PS3 is a black and shiny system that looks nice on any TV entertainment unit. One thing that people like about it is that it is also a blu-ray system. This notion sometimes helps spouses or kids buy it because they can tell the other person that it is also a blu-ray so very worth the money. The movies are slow to load but once they are on, the graphics look amazing as the movie comes to life in full force on your TV screen.

The Nintendo Wii is a great system that comes in a white console with two hand held controllers and two nun chucks that click on to the controllers at times and then come off during other play times. When this system first came out it became popular quickly because of its ability to keep people active while playing the games. So instead of just pressing buttons on the controller while plunked on the couch, you have to move your hands and wrists and sometimes move your entire arm as you swing for a tennis ball or slash a sword at a character.

The idea of playing sports using Nintendo Wii is also a well liked idea. This system has many games including winter sports, resort sports, a standard sport game that comes with all systems, as well as other sport games available. The sport games are different for Nintendo because you have to use your upper body or your entire body to play the games, this form of movement can increase the heart rate and give you a somewhat beneficial exercise, as opposed to sitting there not moving.

PS3 has lots of games but most of them are geared for older kids or adults. While the games feature great graphics and amazing concepts and ideas, most kids under seven or eight will not benefit from the variety of games available to them. PS3 also comes out with fewer games a year then Nintendo and the games are slower to come out, they might be released a few months after another system releases a game.

With both of these systems you can download games right off of the internet and put them right on to the systems. You can also go online on both systems and check the internet right on your TV screen. These ideas can be very handy for many people as the world is becoming increasingly more technically inclined.

The Nintendo Wii has games that appeal to people who do not just want to play video games. There are work-out video`s and diet programs that are hooked right up to your Wii box and help you lose weight. The game will test your skills and abilities and help you work harder to increase your heart rate and helps you keep track and motivated while you pursue weight loss.

Each system has something slightly different to offer. Older kids and adults will prefer both systems, while smaller kids might get more out of a Nintendo Wii. PS3 is a bit more expensive then Wii, but comes with a blu-ray system so in the end is worth it.
