Samsung have become a leading player in several areas of home electronics over the past three years and this success is currently being mirrored in the mobile phone industry.  Their Galaxy S handset proved to be their best ever selling mobile phone and it enjoyed worldwide success.  This industry is forever changing however with new developments and improved technology dating handsets very quickly.  Hence why we herald the arrival of the Galaxy S2,We Look Around Some Great New Features On The Samsung Galaxy S2 Articles its not that the original phone needed changing as it still competed with some of the best phones available.  Its arrival is acknowledgement to some of the exciting changes that have happened in the mobile world in the last 12 months.  We take a look at some excellent applications that come pre installed on this latest model.

Voice Talk is an application that enables you to control the handset entirely by your own voice.  When you select the application from your main screen the phone then defaults to the Voicetalk homescreen.  When you wish to make a call for example you can simply ask the phone to call the desired contact in your phonebook.  Not only does this instigate the call but the phone is also clever enough to realise that you are using the phone hands free and therefore put the call on speaker mode.  It is not only for the making of calls that this application is useful as a host of other features can all be controlled from here.  You can dictate notes and memos to the phone as well as control the in built music player but perhaps the most impressive is when you ask the phone to go in to driving mode.  When you perform this action the phone will automatically read any incoming texts back to you without you having to lay one finger on the handset.  You can even speak back your reply making it a truly voice controlled experience.

The Samsung Galaxy S2 features a Social Hub application which is perfect for synchronising all manner of material.  Within this application E mails, instant messages and social networking accounts are all linked together.  This is not only handy for presenting you with updates all in one place but it also merges with all of your contacts and calendars that are stored within these accounts.  The result of this is that you are left with one super social phonebook packed with all manner of relevant information.  With regards to social networking accounts the application enables you to separately view news feeds from each individual account or view them all together in chronological order.  This last option is particularly impressive especially if you have multiple accounts and viewing each one individually becomes time consuming.

These are just two of the superb features that come loaded onto the excellent Samsung Galaxy S2 handset.  It is refreshing that Samsung have not purely relied upon the phones excellent specification and have backed it up with some innovative and useful facilities that will appeal to many potential consumers.

The Samsung Galaxy S2 and the HTC Sensation are available now.
