A Prague airport shuttle is the best way to take you into the heart of the city. Once there you can marvel at the sights that await you.
While you may be tired from travelling, a Prague airport shuttle will ease the way from the airport to whatever accommodation you are staying in. Once rested you can head out to explore the city in full – and here are some of the main highlights to look forward to.
Charles Bridge
You may have heard of it, but nothing compares to walking over it when you’re staying in this gorgeous city. One thing is guaranteed – your Prague airport shuttle won’t cross the bridge en route to your accommodation because it is for pedestrian use only. This means you can amble across it at leisure, without worrying about crossing the road to get views from either side. This is not the first bridge to be built on this spot, but it has lasted since the 1400s so far, so it is doing well for its age!
Petrin Hill and the Observation Tower
This is a sight worth seeing, especially since it offers the best views over the city itself. You may just catch a glimpse of the tower from your Prague airport shuttle, since it stands 60 metres tall. You’ll need to climb Petrin Hill to reach it, which in itself is about 318 metres in height. Once at the top you may wish to rest for a while before heading up the tower. If you don’t fancy the walk there is a funicular railway you can go for instead. Whatever way you reach it, the journey is well worth it, and it gives you the opportunity to gaze out over the city from a viewpoint you may not have realised was possible.
Prague Zoo
Who doesn’t love visiting a zoo from time to time? Prague Zoo is a great place to go to and is very well-maintained as well. You probably won’t see it as you speed from the airport to wherever you’re staying on your Prague airport shuttle, but ask your driver the general direction and then add it to your itinerary - especially if you have children with you. There are many animals here, some more unusual than others, such as the Komodo Dragon for example. With honey badgers, polar bears and Galapagos tortoises as well, you’ll have no end of fun.
Prague certainly does pack in the sights for its visitors to enjoy, even for just a short break in the city. Whatever you may be going there for initially, you are bound to find a range of sensational attractions there that will cement it in your mind as a destination = to return to again and again.
