Brampton is one of the densely populated cities of Ontario, Canada. We will see five such unique things about Brampton and why should you visit Brampton.

Brampton City in Ontario is the seat of the Peel Region. It was established as a village of 50 residents in 1853. There are some big companies that operate in Brampton. Although not a very popular tourist destination, Brampton city does have a few unique places to visits and things to do. For example, you could visit the Rose theatre and make it a date night by getting a vehicle from Limo rentals in Brampton. There are good shows that are put up there and open for viewing.

Treetop Trekking, hiking

The heart lake Conservation area is in a watershed of the Etobicoke Creek. This complex has individual forest blocks and 11 km of trails. There are a total of five trails which you can enjoy with your family. There are plenty of nature activities available here. There is boating on the lake for which you can rent boats. The lake is also stocked with rainbow trout and you can also catch sunfish and bass. The Wild Wetland Splash and Pool is also something you can enjoy here, and it also has a heated swimming pool. There are Treetop Aerial games where you move from tree to tree high above the ground. You are basically trekking from one tree to another through Tarzan swings, suspended bridges, swinging logs and zip lines that go over Heart Lake! They offer night treks as well where you go through an activity block only with headlamps.This is a fun activity to do in groups too.

War Flying Museum

The Great War Flying Museum was founded by some flying club members in Brampton. It maintains and makes replicas of World War I aircrafts. It has a rare collection of war uniforms and some artefacts from that period as well. The first aircraft that was bought was a 0.85 scale British SE 5A, which is still in operation. The museum is inside a blue hangar a delight to see the mementos preserved so lovingly.

Cheltenham Badlands

Badlands are an area of soft rock which is devoid of any soil cover or vegetation. They have been moulded into a landscape of gullies and rounded hills. These areas are quite rare. As this exists near Brampton, it makes the pace quite unique. The site occupies around 0.4 sq.km and has exposed Queenstone Shale. They are a part of the Niagara escarpment which is a biosphere reserve. There are boardwalks and a viewing deck from where you can see the Badlands. Biking isn’t allowed here.

Claireville Conservation area

The Claireville Conservation area is on the Humber River and contains a lot of cultural and natural heritage features. It is a cool spot for wildlife photographers and birdwatchers as there is plenty of flora and fauna. The park also offers trail riding and there are family campgrounds for an amazing night of camping.

Manmade Beach

The manmade beach is located on the eastern side of Professors Lake. This lake is an artificial lake which is spring-fed. It was earlier a gravel pit and quarry. When the digging touched the water table, the pit was flooded leading to the creation of the lake. The lake has opportunities for windsurfing, sailing, canoeing and fishing. There is a beach for swimming and a waterslide too. There are volleyball courts at the side of the beach as well. The place is unique as there is a manmade beach and it is the only one on Brampton.

Brampton, like most of Canada, has the best of the great outdoors. Most of its unique features are natural. But that in no way means that you can have a good time downtown. Book a Brampton Limo and head out to party. There are certain lanes that have parties in the summer months. Each lane has its own unique goodies, entertainment and food vendors for you to sample and enjoy. There are a few pubs that also serve good brews.
